A relatively good time for transport - we read - with nearly £60bn of assured expenditure over the next decade to match the incredible increases in demand that are forecast. This needs tempering with the inevitable (and major) changes that will flow from the McNulty report on rail industry costs, just published.

With so much change going on we thought it would be helpful to send you a brief note to remind you that we're still here and what we do.

In particular we wanted to make sure you knew what our main services were - these have changed over time and we thought it was important you knew how we might be able to help you.

In short, we supply engineering services to the rail industry. These include M&E design, field services and advice and consultancy. With our considerable experience in the industry we can either carry out works within our expertise or support larger teams helping to provide support and reduce project risk. Our mission is to offer excellent value for money - just what the current environment is clamouring for.

For the future, to help promote best practice within the industry, we have embarked on a series of short seminars. These should help people who require to keep their CPD status up to date (or who just want to know what is going on) and they are free.
